The shared standard
The Apex Circle Code of Conduct sets the expectations that protect members, guests, introductions and the reputation of the community.
Principles
Members and guests are expected to act in a way that strengthens confidence in the community.
Be honest about identity, authority, capability, relationships and intentions.
Do not share private discussions, personal information or business-sensitive material without permission.
Do not pressure members, misuse contact information or turn community access into unsolicited mass marketing.
Introduce people only when there is a credible reason and both sides have appropriate context.
Do not promise outcomes, overstate influence or imply endorsements that have not been given.
State relevant interests, commissions or relationships that could affect a recommendation.
Listen, respond professionally and respect differences in experience, culture and perspective.
Raise serious concerns through the appropriate community channel rather than allowing harmful conduct to continue.
Accountability
Concerns may be reviewed fairly and discreetly. Depending on seriousness and context, the community may clarify expectations, issue a warning, restrict access, suspend participation or end membership. Immediate action may be taken where safety, legality or community trust is at risk.
Nothing in the code replaces applicable law, contractual duties or professional obligations.
Membership carries a responsibility to protect the quality of the community, not merely enjoy its access.
Guests are expected to follow the same principles when attending events or receiving introductions.
